this is a search engine app for google. It has some really cool features, like google goggles and voice search.
I give it four out of five iPhones.

The only reason why it doesn't get five iPhones is because it isn't a really important app, since the google search engine is built into safari as a standard feature.
But it has a lot of new and awesome features, like the google goggles.

The goggles is yet another really great idea from google, it let's you take a picture if anything and the google will automatically search it for you. It doesn't work perfectly yet, but it is an awesome feeling, searching something just by taking a picture of it. I've heard this landmarks and brands should be the goggles strongest side, but the other search possibilities will be just as good after some time.

By now tour probably thinking, "then what does the tiny microphone do?".
Well this of course is the voice search engine also developed by google. The feature let's you record a message and then google will search what ever you tells it to.


It says "speak now" in the top of all the English versions of this app.

This feature works really well, it get it right almost every time. This is the way I'm doing all my google searching now.

By clicking the tiny "program" button in the bottom of the screen, you will see this screen filled with shortcuts to all your other google products, such as YouTube and Gmail.


When your seeing the result if a search, you can change the area of your search, by simply swiping your finger from the left side of the screen towards the right side. This movement will bring up this menu, where you change to picture search or other search types.


This is a really great app, but it is fairly complicated, so follow the tutorial that shows up when you first start the app. The tutorial looks like this.

Paper Toss World Tour

Another great app. Its not the most sophisticated game in the world, but it's still an addicting game.
I give it five iPhones because you always come back to this game.

The game need no introduction nor do it's controls need to be explained. It's simply swipe your finger towards the trashcan and factor in the wind direction.
And of course try to hit it as many times in a row to get the highest highscore.




Eery time you complete a level you'll be able to "travel" to another country and shoot for the trashcans in that country.

It's an app I hadn't heard of until recently, when a reader send me an email requesting a review of the app "Mr. Ninja lite"
So I went right to the app store to take a look at this app. And yes the lite version is great, but the full version is much better.
I must say, I was impressed.
I give it four out of five iPhones.

It's a simple but funny game.
You control this tiny ninja and is supposed to guide him through a field of turning "planets" that each have it's own gravity-field. When you tap the screen, your ninja will jump straight up in the air, in the direction his pointing. You can tap once more to make him jump again when his in the air, but you an only do that once every time you jump. So you better get the first jump right.
When your playing the screen looks like this (when the device is tilted).



You are supposed to slice as many aliens as possible in every jump. But be careful not to miss The black "planet" and fall down out of the screen, cause then you'll lose the game.

The Gameplay

When you open the app you'll see this screen.



It has a lot of unimportant features, which you never will need. So I'll leave them out of this review.

When you press the big play button you will see this screen.



Now, when you first start the app. You will only be able to play the upper left game-mode, but don't worry. You just need to get enough points to "complete" which you'll easily do.

When you "complete" you'll be allowed to play the upper right game-mode.
In this game your supposed to get 110 chains or more to complete. This is kind of hard because of the time running in the upper right corner.
But it is doable! So keep trying. Cause when you succeed you'll be able to play the impossible-level, and that is definitely the best level. Its hard and mind screwing, and you will find yourself throwing your device away out of frustrations, but then after a couple of hours you'll try again, simply because you must beat your high-score.
It's a great app buy it.

Papi Missile

This is another great app. I give it four iPhones:

It's basically about controlling these three missile-bases. And protecting them from the missiles falling down from the sky, by shooting them down with the missiles from your bases.






This app is sedately worth a download. And it's free!!

Controls
This app is the easiest to control, just tap the base and drag the finger in the direction you wish to shoot it in.

It is a nice app to take notes with or write your homework in, I give it three out of five iPhones.

Three iPhones is maybe a little low, but I want you all to know that it is the best text program I have found so far, that doesn't cost anything. So it is definitely worth it to check it out.

Controls
When you first start up the app, you will see this screen minus my folders:






Just tap the new folder button to make a folder like you would on any computer.

When you are typing in a document the screen will either have the big or the small keyboard. Depending on which way you tilt your device.












To sen your files to your computer simply connect your device to your computer and import the files.

The Best Game In The World!!!

Is by far the best app I have seen in a long time. It is crazy addicting. It deserves a lot more, but since five is the highest rating it can get. I can only give it five

In the game you control this tiny robot, and fighting against this hue army of bigger and smaller robots.
The main-screen looks like this:



The continue button is another great thing about this app, the app it self automatically save you last game, this makes it really easy to continue where you stopped last time you played.

Gameplay
You control you robots movement by tapping the upper or lower part of the screen.
To shoot a rocket at your opponent just tap on it.

To send a fled of rockets at the enemy robots, just tap and hold the finger on the enemy robot.

To send a super blast/huge rocket against your opponent, tap and hold upon your robot and then drag your finger to the robot you wish to destroy.

VLC Media Player

It is an awesome app, we all know how annoying it is to have to convert all movie before you can watch them on your iPhone. This app take care if that, it can play every file type i could find a movie in. If you find one it cant play, please leave a comment. I give it four out of five iPhones

This app makes it so easy to put movies on your iPhone. Simply connect your device to you iTunes library, then go to the programs folder in your device. Then scroll down press the VLC button



Then press the "add" button and select the movies you wish to save onto your device.



After adding all the movies you wish to save, simply press the synchronise button and wait till it's done.

Controls
The app in it self is really easy to use. The start screen shows all the movies you have on your device.



To start a movie just tap the one you'd like. You browse by swiping your finger up or down the screen.
If you wish to delete a movie. Just tap the "Edit" -button in the upper right corner of the screen. That will make red circle appear before all your movies. If you tap the circle in front of the movie you wish to delete, then tap the "Delete" -button that appears.



When you play a movie the screen looks like this:



To fast forwards or backwards in the movie, you drag the upper line with the circle.
The lower menu has a line which controls the volume, this is also where the pause/play -button is located.
This menu disappears if you tilt your device or doesn't touch the screen in 10 seconds.

Icy Tower

I give this game five out of five iPhones

It is a great app. You can easily and quickly start up a new game. Another huge plus, is that you can make your own playlist with the music you have in your library. This makes it a lot more fun to play the game, since you can play music that psyches you to do your best.



The picture above is what the main-screen looks like.
The tiny note-sign in the upper left corner, is where you create your playlist. When you push that button you will see this screen:



Simply press the three striped button in the middle of the screen. That will bring you to this screen:



Press the plus-sign in the upper left corner and then pick the songs in your library that you wish to listen to and press "done" to save the playlist.

The tiny button to the left with a man on it, is simply the credits for the creators of the app.

The last button to the left with the gears on it is where you set up game volume and stuff like that.

The help-button shows you how the controls of the game works. It's a good idea to take a quick look at that before you start playing, because it is kind of tricky to get the hang of the combo jumps.

The customise button let's you customise your jumping character, surprise, surprise. You can also change your name in here. The screen looks like this:



And the different characters you can choose between are these:



Below the play button is the "Game Progress" - button this let's you see your saved replays, high-scores and achievements. The achievements is what will get you addicted after you have completed all four towers.



Controls
The controls of the game is another awesome plus. You jump by tapping the screen. An you move by tilting the screen. This makes it a bit hard to see the screen some times, but it really gives the game a great flow.

In the game you only have one tower in the beginning, but once you complete it you will get access to the next tower.
The four towers look like this:



None of the towers look the same, which they definitely doesn't do on the inside either. They all have different obstacles and boosting tools.



When you lose you will see this screen:



This makes it really quick and easy to either share your run on Facebook or try again by pressing the replay-button. This is also where you save your replays.
This app is a must have!! A bit expensive, but it is a really great app.

I give this app four out of five iPhones

Because of it's nice gameplay, the reason why it doesn't get the full five stared review is because it lags a lot once you have enough buildings.






Bloons Tower Defence 4 is another awesome must have.
It's fun and you'll easily spend hours on this game.
There is a ton of levels and you can select many different fields and three difficulty levels.

The point of the game is to puncture the balloons before the get to the end of the road. I which case they take one if your lives. Your number if lives variates depending on the difficulty level.







The start-screen looks like the picture above. By clicking the "Play Game" button you will pick a difficulty level and a field to play upon. After this, the game begins.

If you click the "Settings" button in the start-screen you will see this:






Here you can change the volume and controls settings, but this us also where one of the greatest features of this app is, because you are able to play your own music while playing. This is a huge plus !! Because this is a kind of tower defence game, there is inevitably some waitingtime. And with this feature, you don't have to listen to the annoying standard music.

Controls

When you are in the game, simply press the button in the bottom and select the building you wish to build. Then drag the building to the location on the field where you wish to build it and simply drop the building.
You get more money by puncturing balloons, the balloons will come every time you start the next round in the upper right corner of the screen.

This is screenshot if my best attempt to complete the game in the marathon gametype, which is the type where you just play without time to see how many rounds you can get.
This is my best attempt, I'm at round 130 and have more than 2 million $.





I challenge you, try ti beat my score. Let me know how it goes. Leave a comment below, I'm looking forward to the reading them.
I'm so afraid of loosing, that I take a screenshot every time I start a new round. Luckily for me, the app has a "save and quit" feature. So you can pause the game and return another day and continue.

There is of cause also a game-type with a mission, a number of rounds you need to survive. And after these rounds have been won, the game will ask if you wish to continue in marathon mode.

Fruit Ninja

I give this game five out of five iPhones

It's a fun app to play and it is a pretty addicting app.
The game is about cutting fruits into tiny chunks of destroys fruit, with your ninja sword controlled by your all mighty finger.
But be careful, if you accidentally tries to cut one of the bombs with your sword, you'll lose the game. And if you miss three fruits you'll also see the big annoying "Game-over" sign on your screen..

The game I basically about cutting down all the fruit that gets thrown up in the air, without hitting the bombs.




Controls




Once you start your app, your screen will look like the picture above. To pick one of them, simply cut the fruit with your desired shortcut. This is done by swiping your finger across the screen like if you were whipping dirt of your screen. It's a bit tricky, but you'll get it in 3 seconds.

The "Dojo" fruit in the left side of the screen is where you select your weapon.
You will receive new weapons through out the game.
The Dojo-screen will look like this:






The fruit to the left is the shortcut to your weapons.
The one in the middle is the "About" -button, it explains the basics of the game, but you don't need it!
The fruit to the right leads you back to the main-screen.

If you on the main-screen cut the "New game" -button you will see this screen:






This is where you select what type of game you'd like to play.
There is Classic (without time and with bombs and with three lives), Multiplayer (is self-explanatory), Zen mode (no bombs, no lives and 90 second rounds) and last but not least is the Arcade-button, which I wont tell you what does, it is gonna be a surprise for when you download this great app.

Angry Birds Seasons

Angry Birds Seasons is a nice app, I give it four out of five iPhones

It has all the great features angry birds had. The basic idea is, that they bring out a new package full of levels every season, winter, summer and so on. It a great thing, it means you never run out of angry birds levels completely.

Controls
Its controls are exactly the same as with the original angry birds game.
Tap and swipe to shoot the birds, and tap once again to activate the birds special ability.













The apps start-screen will look like this:












No matter where you tap the upper part of the screen, you will always enter the levels section of the game, which looks like this:












By swiping your finger across you can select between all the earlier and new levels.
At the end of the right part of the levels. You will see this:












Which basically is a shortcut to commercials and other "great" angry birds stuff. But don't worry, it doesn't bother you at all.

The annoying part
When you play the game you can refresh the game without first taping the pause-button at the top left corner of the screen. And the from there clicking the refresh-button...
This is really annoying and I don't understand why they diesnt change it..
But all in all the app is great and you CAN live with the refreshing thing.
